Printed something with a QR code on it, then the link changed? With Weeny, you print the code once and decide where it goes later. Each editable QR code has a permanent web address, and you can point it at a new destination whenever you like.
Weeny is short links, forms and link-in-bio pages in one tool, with QR codes built in. So the thing your code points to can live in the same place as the code itself.
Type a URL and download a PNG or SVG. The code encodes that address directly in your browser. Nothing is sent to Weeny, nothing is stored, and there is no account needed.
We add https:// if you leave the scheme off.
A static code cannot be changed after you print it, and it has no scan stats. Weeny's editable QR codes let you change the destination and track scans. Starter includes a 7-day free trial (card required).
A standalone Weeny QR code always points to its own address, like https://wio.bz/q/yourcode. That address never changes, so neither does the printed code. What changes is where it sends people. Update the destination in Weeny and the next scan goes to the new place straight away.
A standalone code can send people to:
Running a summer menu now and an autumn one later? A sign-up form before the event and a thank-you page after it? Same code, new destination.
You do not need a standalone code for everything. Any short link, form or Teeny Page in Weeny can give you a QR code on demand. Download it as a PNG for quick use or an SVG for sharp print at any size, straight from the list or the editor. These downloads are included on every plan.
Standalone codes live in the QR codes section of the app, in the sidebar. From there you can create codes, change where they point, download them again and see scan totals for each one.
If you delete the link, form or page a code points to, people who scan it see a clear "unavailable" page rather than an error. Point the code somewhere new and it works again.
Open the QR codes section and choose where it points: a Weeny link, form, Teeny Page or any https address.
Save it as a PNG or SVG and add it to your menu, flyer, packaging or sign.
Change the destination in Weeny. The printed code stays the same and the new destination works straight away.
Menus: point the code on the table at this season's menu, then switch it when the menu changes.
Flyers: send people to an event page now and a sign-up form once dates are set.
Packaging: link to setup instructions today and a reorder page later, without a new print run.
Event signage: show the schedule before the day and a feedback form afterwards.
Business cards: point your card at your Teeny Page, and update it when your work or contact details change.
When someone scans a standalone code, Weeny records the scan with the time and details taken from the request, such as country, city, region, device, browser and operating system. The visitor's IP address is stored only as an HMAC-SHA256 hash, and it is deleted after 90 days.
Our promise is simple: no cookies or scripts on redirects, no ads, we never sell click data. The one exception to the cookie rule is a password-protected link, which sets a cookie once the visitor enters the password.
